Privacy Policy for MendBook

Last updated: June 4, 2026

This privacy policy explains how PByte handles information in MendBook.

Information We Collect

MendBook does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information. Your projects, notes, stitch sessions, thread palette, sketches, and selected photos are stored locally on your device.

Photos

If you choose photos for a project timeline, or take a photo with the camera, MendBook copies those images into its app-private local storage. Photos are not uploaded to a MendBook server.

Reminders

If you schedule a project reminder, the reminder text and date are stored locally and delivered by iOS notifications. MendBook does not transmit reminder content.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

MendBook does not use third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or tracking technologies.

TestFlight Feedback

Pre-release TestFlight builds may show a feedback button for invited testers. If a tester chooses to send feedback, MendBook sends the feedback text, a screenshot of the current app screen, basic device/app metadata, and a random install identifier to PByte's private feedback storage so we can fix issues before release. This feedback tool is not active in production App Store builds.

If a tester uses voice dictation for feedback, MendBook requires Apple on-device speech recognition. Audio is not stored or transmitted by MendBook; if on-device recognition is unavailable, voice dictation is disabled.

Exports

If you export a CSV or backup file, you choose where to send or save it using the system share sheet. MendBook does not receive a copy of exported files.

Children's Privacy

MendBook is not directed to children under 13 and does not collect data from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page.
