PelletPit Privacy & Support

PelletPit is a paid, offline smoker cook-planning and reference app. We designed it to work without accounts, analytics, ads, tracking or runtime network requests.

Data Collection

PelletPit does not collect personal data and does not send cook data to us or to third parties.

Local App Data

The app may store cook sessions, manual temperature readings, notes, ratings, settings and notification preferences locally on your device. This data stays on your device unless you delete it or delete the app.

You can clear local cook history from the History tab. Deleting PelletPit from your device also deletes the app's local data from that device.

Network, Analytics and Tracking

• No account or sign-in.
• No third-party analytics SDK.
• No advertising SDK.
• No tracking.
• No runtime API or backend connection.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, PelletPit schedules local notifications on your device to check and update your cook. These reminders do not require a server.

Food Safety Reference

PelletPit provides cooking estimates and USDA recommended minimum internal temperature references. Always verify doneness with a calibrated thermometer and follow current food handling guidance.

Support

If you contact support by email, we receive only the information you choose to include in that message. Support emails are used only to respond to your request.
